I went in search of a feminine identity; - who could give a fitting reply to the mindless acts of violence against human nature, especially against women.......
(I read an article by” Irene Malik” titled “lost Innocence”. It was a heart rending story of a girl being violated by a very close relative, her mama (uncle). Such things happen all the time, go unreported shows the imprint of such a phenomenon in the culture of our society. What I have written only reflects my angst and not my world views)
. The first place to look for the figure was Myths. Are not the myths, the condensation of the essence of the collective human wisdom, articulating truths about inner reality, portrayed in a poetic form???
Do not the powers of the myths cut through the rational mind (putting blocks to every ephemeral voicing of new inner reality) and open the doors of human transformation??
Alas man in his search for the world of outer treasures and riches has got fragmented from his inner reality. The scientific wisdom which deals with the outer aspects of reality needs to dialogue with the patterns of embedded culture thrown by living mythos* which guides the action of collective psyche. Did not Jung, Freud and Adler the famous psychologists echo that......
Come to my aid, I said to the many fertile minds who have dedicated their lives in search of connections between the evidenced and the experienced. Joseph Campbell, Jung, Bullfinch and many more.
Has it not been the observed reality that Unprocessed, Unexpressed and Un consummated love expresses in the form of aggression?so say psychoanalysts.so says my experience........
If there is a matching aggression and a matching passion for love built into the psyche of women would it not give the ever aggressive manhood ,a sudden break In his cultural archaic instincts to jolt him back into the reality of a civilised world.??
I was in search of a women Identity whose firm location, Understanding of eros and love, great intellect, fair mind and retributive stand can put fear into the minds of those who even imagine such acts in their dreams...
My search first went to the Indian Mythology and only person who had the aggression and acceptance was Kali. When Kali was in great flow, even Siva had to be action less and motionless. Kali had aggression and anger but never had the excessive passion or undersatnding of the travails of love .
Then I came across the Charming Babylonian queen Ishtar, the Brave Sumerian queen Inana**, Endearing Sakhmet queen of Egypt and at last the fiery, alluring, amorous, seductive, vindictive, imaginative, and brilliant
‘APHRODITE, The one who cannot be violated.***...............
Goddess of love and war.........,
Guardian of the courtesans...............,
Helper and protector of the heroes..........,
Lover of lovers............,
Avenger of the enemies.........
The one and ... only Aphrodite......
Invocations to you...Oh!! Aphrodite you who are not of the male female union****, Born out of the severed genitals of your father, you were self born.
Only in equality did you accept any male or any union. No one ever dared to put you down to number two.
You understood nature, forms, manifestations meanings and the expressions of love and sexuality.
The suppression and disowning of the need to love and be loved, to relate and be related, to be held and allowed to hold, and the human transgressions that follow......
You also knew all such needs for unfulfilled love Amor, and agape seem to flood the reality of Human beings and get reflected in the external physicality of man women relationship. You have effectively pushed back and stemmed the tide of such inhuman responses, almost animal in its origins by your psychic strength .
You always went ahead and fought for what you wanted and of course got it too... You ensnared Paris*****, the hero of Trojan War with the reward of Helen to accomplish your godly ends. You ,in a sense started the Trojan War.....
Unlike the traditional woman who start of their lives with aligning themselves to their husband’s context, you chose Vulcan who was an artist and he had to align himself to you. You were true to him in your definition of your personal values. You were not terribly concerned about the static, mummified views of morality of the society. You were truly an equal to him. You allowed him his space and claimed what is rightfully yours.
Your total non ambivalence to sex made it impossible for anyone to ever rape you. Rape is to you a physical phenomenon getting reflected in the psychological domain. You come from an experiential reality that if psychologically nobody can intrude into you uninvited; it shall reflect in the physicality..........
Your focus was on building both the inner and the outer realities...
Only by energising and enabling you and waking you up from your slumber in an known forgotten and buried temple and inviting you in to our pantheon of gods, can we successfully build the collective strength against these unreported carnages of the human kind. We need the vindictiveness that you showed against “Psyche”******* the lover of your son Eros when you did not get along well with her.
There is a crying need to create a fear psychosis among those who dare evoke their animal traits.
You always helped heroes who were waging righteous wars............
We need you to fight our battle. Come join us and add to us.......
Resurrect ye Aphrodite, The one who cannot be violated*
(a sonnet)
Unmating , uninhibited, born out of no union, ensnaring, unnurtured
Tying , knot to Vulcan, equating with him but never owned him up save in bed
Revered by men and women of substance; exuberant, intelligent and cultured
Never looked back or allowed either for you or suitors tears to be shed
Sex but a game of pain and pleasure “shall have whomever I need or want
Is it your hegemony to transgress oh you blessed male &to be taller! Choosier!
Pull yourself up to be my equal; rise up to me: pull me down!! You can’t
Beware of my violent wrath!! Was not psyche’s love of Eros proved costlier??”
Vulcan, the lesser of the two had no choice than to toe your line & align...
If not: would you not have better suitors, better aligned mortals for his post?
But for your timely help would not many heroes lost their wars again &again
For you, leading your life, pride of Self and equation with Thou; come foremost
Resurrect--; reconnect-- be born again to act swiftly against all acts in human
Save us from those who do not have the courage to equate men with women
The end

** * On the meaning of Aphrodite by Paul Fredrich
****Kronos, son of ouronos cut off the genitals of his father on the bidding of Gaia his mother and threw it into the sea. From the genital arose the form of Aphrodite
*****When there was a competition between Aphrodite and the graces as to who was more beautiful paris was the judge and Aphrodite influenced him by offering him the most beautiful girl on earth Helen as a bribe..
******She was jealous of psyche and when her son Eros fell into love with psyche she put several hurdles in her path. But psyche was able to come through these tests successfully.
