Some people say it with flowers....... To Beena, I said it with vegetable pulav (recipe to enterprising husbands)

Dear Sampathji,

These are really irritating questions to ask to a person who is" half asleep in the sofa".

Which boils faster carrot or beans?
What about Alu?
 what about cauliflower and peas

when beenaji ask you about finding the rice packet
Why can’t she just sleep? I said to myself reaching for the packet (This is annoying)

Anyway I enjoyed reading your article. I can imagine how the "status of the kitchen" would be
after the preparation of pulav

I am happy that Beenaji liked your pulav.

Your preparation of pulav for Beenaji especially cutting onions very small,

shows " Your pure love for your wife" I appreciate it.

Regards,
MayaAnil

Hi Sampath,
Your writing is so nicely descriptive that I could actually visualize the mess you had created.
By the time I finished, I was having an anxiety attack imagining the situation in my house. If hubby ever volunteers to make vegetable pulov I will run to prevent him at all cost . An hours highly interupted rest is just not worth a day full of cleaning up.
However the intention and love for Beena is so evident. Beena is such a lucky lady.

That was a wonderful GIFT to a wife ! I suppose your head would have escaped the rolling pin missile when the umpteen vessels involved in the Battle with the Basumathi Pulav  were discovered.

Ah ! Do lets have another anecdote...you saying it with  a Dessert. Not a simple Gajar Halwa or Peda   but a complicated Mysore Pak...Try ! hey  Bina..you must be after my scalp, imagining the Besan,Ghee, sugar etc scattered all over the countryside !

Sampathji
Both the cook and the cooker seem to be made of sterner stuff.
Despite the Scientific approach the dish got cooked well.Beena's instructions must have helped .
Three dimensional onion cutter!
What will males think of next?
Automatic nappy changer?!
Enjoyed the blog.
