Dear sampath,
A wonderful,humorous,humane account of your stay at the hospital.Reading every line of your post I, was reminded of my husband's bye pass surgery in Escorts in1995.The days previous to the operation were nerve wrecking ,since he had a massive heart attack,we were in Delhi,no relatives there, but our friends and his colleagues more than made up for that.
Take care

mythili

Hi Sampath.............

           I'm so sorry I did not see this earlier. Wish you a speedy recovery. That was indeed a humorous account of quite a serious operation.....at least the word 'diverticulum' sounds quite sombre....I hope you've shed the last tube by now and look less like spiderman and more like a normal man As usual the painting is beautiful:-}

Dear Sampathji,

Nice to be able to reach across the vast span of ether to make friends with you.
I can empathise with you because I have gone through the very same experience that was yours.I was operated for a bypass in 2005 and I had to go through much of what you experienced.

Yes it does feel good to have a group of friends who are concerned.Their good wishes are healing balm.

Regards,

Iver

Hi DSam,

Just got around to your blog .. I did hear about your operation when I spoke with Neha on the phone just before the Bangalore Sulekha meet. Also saw your note in response to mine. Hope you are keeping good health now.

Take care.

Love,
Me
